Senior Executive Communications Leader, Partner Strategy & Engagement

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive Communications Leader to join the AWS Specialists and Partners (ASP) organization. The Senior Executive Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication to convey the organization’s vision and value proposition to internal and external audiences globally.

In this role you will design messaging strategies that consider both proactive and reactive tactics based on active listening and customer and employee data and insights. You will build a multi‑year messaging strategy for the ASP leadership, design the optimal platform to reach our audiences, and develop compelling, data‑rich content to inform and inspire them. You will work with lighthouse partners and customers to build case studies that tell our story at high-impact public events.

You will maintain a balance of proactive guidance and strategy with flawless delivery to become a trusted partner to the leadership team.

• Develop and implement our most visible strategic messaging programs that resonate with technical audiences and line of business owners, promote engagement, and address customer needs with value‑driven communications about AWS products and partner solutions.
• Create business and technical narratives to acquire and grow customers and partners at the highest level by articulating the technical differentiation and value proposition of our services and partner programs.
• Craft a multi‑year business development strategy to build lighthouse case studies with partners that highlight our ability to deliver deep expertise to customers through specialists and partners and drive revenue growth in line with our strategic priorities.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end management of external engagements, including industry, customer, partner, and thought‑leadership events.
• Provide high‑caliber content that sets quality benchmarks across AWS organizations, serving as a valued resource that elevates technical understanding enterprise‑wide.
• Work directly with the Specialist and Partner leadership team and serve as a leader for the ASP’s Strategic Communications team on messaging our strategic value proposition both internally and externally.
• Effectively engage with senior executives and industry thought leaders, driving adoption of Amazon’s technology solutions and services.
• Manage a team of executive communication managers who prepare executives for internal and external speaking engagements, including content for global meetings, email communications, video script writing, and social media strategy.
• Work closely with the AWS PR, Marketing, and Subject Matter Expert teams to align on communication strategies and messaging.
• Create thought‑leadership programs and opportunities for the ASP leader to promote the business value that can be obtained by partnering with AWS.
• Measure and share results of speaking engagements to evaluate impact.
• Conduct research and monitor industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for enhancing executive communications.
• Provide guidance and support to executives during high‑pressure situations and ensure timely and accurate communication to relevant stakeholders.
