Base Pay Range

$66,000.00/yr - $83,000.00/yr

About the Role

The Copywriter II crafts compelling, on-brand messaging across mediums to support client objectives. You’ll develop marketing and product copy for websites, write scripts for promotional videos, develop creative campaign concepts, and produce brand messaging content, ensuring consistency and impact across all materials. You’ll collaborate with designers and strategists, adapt tone for diverse audiences, and help build messaging matrices. Additionally, you will be responsible for the clarity and effectiveness of messaging frameworks.

Responsibilities
  • Product & Brand Writing:Write clear, engaging copy for marketing and product descriptions, brand messaging, scripts, and campaign assets across digital and print.
  • Concept Development:Contribute to campaign concepts and creative ideation that deliver on established strategies. Proactively propose new ideas and anticipate content needs to strengthen campaign effectiveness.
  • Messaging Matrix:Develop and maintain messaging matrices to ensure consistency and alignment with strategy across touchpoints.
  • Collaboration:Initiate and lead collaboration with designers, art directors, and strategists to align visuals and messaging, bringing forward new approaches and solutions as needed.
  • Adaptation:Tailor tone and style for various audiences, channels, and formats.
  • Creative Reviews:Participate in creative reviews, incorporating feedback to refine work.
  • Client Presentation:Present concepts and messaging to clients as needed.
  • Industry Awareness:Stay current with trends in copywriting, branding, and marketing.
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of professional copywriting experience.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong product, brand, and campaign writing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, marketing, or related field preferred.

Work Environment
