As a Marketing Manager
, you will lead the development of seasonal and brand marketing campaigns to drive traffic to stores and deepen customer love for Starbucks. You will collaborate with a broad group of cross‑functional partners to develop and execute comprehensive go‑to‑market plans and communication strategies to influence our customers at all points along the customer journey.

In this highly visible role, you will act as the integrated marketing leader and internal spokesperson for the cross‑functional team that contributes to our seasonal go‑to‑market plans. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, passionate and innovative marketer to contribute to Starbucks success across our national footprint of 17,000+ US retail stores.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute multi‑channel seasonal marketing campaigns that are rooted in business and consumer insights. Mine areas like Finance, Menu, Analytics, Social Listening, Media and PR for qualitative and quantitative insights to inform strategies.
  • Support campaign development and execution for market tests of new products to validate consumer resonance and inform national launch approaches.
  • Develop and implement marketing research plans in partnership with Consumer Insights to inform our strategic briefs and go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Author campaign briefs that guide channel communication, prioritization and creative execution. Consult on creative development with internal and external teams to ensure output is on brief.
  • Collaborate with a broad group of cross‑functional partners to develop comprehensive go‑to‑market plans, connecting dots across teams to strengthen the work. Inspire and influence others to generate new ideas and identify creative solutions to customer/business challenges.
  • Lead the development of written communications including leadership presentations, campaign recaps and marketing business cases for new programs or initiatives.
  • Be a steward of business performance and trends. Interface with Finance and Menu Insights teams to understand performance drivers and tailor our campaigns to achieve our financial goals.
  • Bring fresh, creative, big‑idea thinking for how to drive traffic, deepen brand love and stoke brand engagement in new ways.

  • Strategic thinking and storytelling skills, a creative mindset, keen critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, confidently develop and present strategic recommendations, solve complex problems and take new perspective on existing solutions, balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast‑changing environments.
  • Functions effectively with ambiguity and change.
  • Proven ability to respond to and prioritize changing demands effectively.
  • Ability to influence laterally and cross‑functionally and experience leading cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills – highly organized and attentive to details.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills to craft storytelling materials for all levels of leadership (VP/SVP+).
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of US military experience.
  • Progressive experience in product or brand management (3–5 years).
  • Cross‑functional project management experience (3–5 years).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a proactive self‑starter.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA.
  • Understanding of media principles and metrics.
  • Agency management experience.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously.
  • Experience managing at least one budget.
