Warehouse & Production Associate - SeaTac

Warehouse & Production Associates are responsible for assisting with shipment unloading, customer loading, product production, sorting of materials and maintaining a clean warehouse environment. They are responsible for using various types of equipment such as loading carts, transfer pumps and forklifts. They will also be responsible to ensure an accurate, safe and timely delivery of product based on the training conducted by the Branch Manager or his/her delegate.

Competitive wage at $21 to 23.50/hour DOE and great benefits!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Assist in the loading of customer trucks with finished product using proprietary loading carts, as required, assuring a safe, accurate and timely delivery of products.

* Equipment operations and training.

* Maintain a clean work area.

* Perform preventative maintenance tasks as directed.

* Must be able to meet call-in requirements.

* Be responsible and dependable to report to work at the scheduled time.

* Be a team member who will complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner, and be conscientious about assignments.

* Maintain a team environment with other employees and departments.

* Maintain a high level of customer service and friendly atmosphere.

* Complete any and all tasks assigned by the Manufacturing Production Supervisor.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES

To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

* HS diploma or equivalent is required.

* Experience in truck loading and unloading; warehouse experience very helpful.

* Forklift certification is preferred but not required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES

* Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook, and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications.

* Excellent organizational skills, communications skills, ability to multi-task, and most importantly, work well in a team environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position is largely self-directed and requires the understanding of company policy, procedures, and values. Team members will be required to adhere to all safety requirements in all work environments. This position operates in a warehouse environment and may be exposed to noise, heat/ cold, and other elements while performing the duties of this position. The team member will be exposed to moving mechanical parts and exposed to Urea and other related products.

SPECIFIC

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

* Occasionally lifting weights of fifty (50) pounds or less.

* Climbing stairs and ladders.

* Opening valves.

* Occasionally bending, twisting, and turning while lifting weights of less than fifty (50) pounds.

* Data entry while seated for greater than one-half (1/2) hour.

* Walking of two (2) or more miles per day.

* Working at heights, and at temperatures from 40° to +100° degrees.

* Standing for extended periods of time.

* Elevated work is required.
