Welder-Fitter

We are working with a client in the Seattle area that supports the chemical plant and industrial process equipment industry. In this role, you will work on a variety of pipe and structural fabrication projects. Typical duties include cutting, prepping, layout, and fitting of various pipe sizes, fittings, and components, along with reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and fabrication sketches.

This is a long-term direct-hire role and is available on a full-time basis. Overtime is possible, and flexibility to do so is necessary.

Pay: $60,000 - $90,000 depending on qualifications and experience

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in the industry
• Proficiency welding with Stick, TIG, MIG, and Flux Core/Dual Shield
• Ability to read and work from complex blueprints
• Experience with Stainless Steel and Carbon steel plate and pipe
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of fabrication practices
• Must be able to pass standard weld tests (pipe and plate)

Bonus:

• Ability to operate fabrication shop equipment (grinders, saws, torches, etc.)
• Background in industrial or process equipment fabrication
• Relevant Schooling, Training, & Certifications
