Injection Molding Manager

This role involves providing technical support to meet production goals and managing the Injection Molding Department, ensuring efficient operation of staff and equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting molding processes, optimizing productivity, and contributing to cost-reduction strategies.

• Manage daily operations of the Injection Molding Department.
• Troubleshoot molding processes to improve cycle times, yield, and quality.
• Collaborate with Scheduling and Customer Service to meet production targets.
• Support production KPIs and explore automation opportunities.
• Lead and develop staff across all shifts, including Leads, Operators, and Molders.
• Conduct performance reviews, recommend staffing adjustments, and assist with HR functions.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

• Oversee department budget, manage costs and overtime.
• Recommend upgrades to equipment and workspace for improved efficiency.
• Work closely with CNC, Assembly, and Shipping teams.
• Lead startup meetings, KPI reviews, and ensure clear communication across departments.

7–10 years of experience in advanced Injection Molding or Process Engineering.

• Master Molder status preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and aerospace injection molding standards (AS9100).
• Experience with Kaizen/Lean management techniques.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and operate motor vehicles as needed.
