Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all maintenance operations in the manufacturing facility.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance the longevity and efficiency of equipment.
• Supervise the repair and maintenance of all machinery and equipment, including film extrusion machinery and flexible packaging machines.
• Coordinate with production team to schedule maintenance activities without hampering the production process.
• Ensure that all safety regulations are strictly followed during maintenance operations.
• Train and guide the maintenance team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of necessary equipment and parts.
• Regularly inspect machinery and equipment to identify any signs of malfunctions or wear and tear.
• Implement innovative solutions to improve machinery efficiency and reduce downtime.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of film extrusion and flexible packaging machines.
• In-depth knowledge of polyethylene and its applications in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of machinery and equipment.
• Ability to manage a maintenance budget and resources effectively.
• Relevant certifications and qualifications in mechanical or industrial engineering would be advantageous.
