Shift/Hours: To be determined
Pay Rate: $30 - $35 /hr DOE
Location: Seattle, WA
The Machinist will perform hands on machining operations and also support maintenance, troubleshooting / assessment, and repair work on valves (Block Valves, PSV / SRV, and / or pneumatic and electric actuators) based on the associated skill level. The Machinist will also travel to / from customer sites and / or a service center. If you are mechanically inclined or enjoy working with your hands, we highly encourage you to apply.
Manual Machinist Job Duties and Requirements:
- Performs hands-on machining on individual components for valves, pumps, and other industrial equipment using various manual machines.
- Conducts troubleshooting, maintenance, testing, and repair on valves and actuators in both workshop and on-site settings.
- Performs failure assessments and ensures all work and materials comply with manufacturer specifications by reading schematics and generating quality documentation.
- Conducts routine safety inspections and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Interacts with customers and team members and has skills in areas like forklift operation and using Microsoft Word and Excel to generate reports.
