Job Title:
Maintenance & Compliance Coordinator

Job Description

As a Maintenance & Compliance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery. You will develop and monitor preventative maintenance schedules, manage work orders, and maintain compliance with food safety standards. Your efforts will ensure that our facility remains in top condition and ready for federal inspections.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and track preventative maintenance schedules for production machinery using CMMS solution (Limble) to prevent breakdowns.

  • Oversee the daily maintenance queue, ensuring all work is scheduled, documented with photos/notes, and closed out.

  • Familiarize yourself with production equipment to build Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for equipment operators.

  • Monitor inventory levels for critical spare parts, place orders, and follow up on deliveries to ensure no production delays.

  • Organize and monitor on-site inventory.

  • Coordinate with third-party repair vendors and contractors to ensure they meet our facility's safety and quality standards.

  • Maintain impeccable records of repairs and sanitation-sensitive maintenance for federal inspections.

  • Collaborate with QA on internal audits, inspections, and assessments to verify compliance with food safety programs.

  • Review and maintain equipment documentation.

  • Work closely with production, sanitation, QA, and supply chain teams to ensure effective implementation of food safety controls.

Essential Skills
  • Experience with CMMS or other work order management systems.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Professional communication skills (phone, text, and email).

  • Ability to manage shifting priorities without losing accountability.

  • Attention to detail and documentation skills.

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in meat or poultry processing and cooking operations.

  • Familiarity with USDA/FDA regulations.

Work Environment

You will work in a food production facility with refrigerated environments, requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
