MIG Aluminum Welder | $25-$37/hr | Hiring 10 Welders for New Tukwila Facility

Job Description

We are seeking 10 skilled MIG Aluminum Welders to join our team immediately. In this role, you will perform basic welding and fabrication tasks with a focus on MIG welding for aluminum under close supervision. The position requires the ability to read simple blueprints and operate welding equipment while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Our production involves building cages for scaffolding, transitioning from TIG to MIG welding processes.

The positions are long-term due to a production shift to Tukwila, and candidates must be flexible with shift changes.

$25-$37

Shift

Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm or Monday-Friday 1:00pm-9:30pm (OT based on business need). Candidates will need to be okay with potentially moving to swing shift and starting off on the 5am shift. Cannot promise they will move to swing. Need to be okay with either shift.

Responsibilities
  • Perform basic welding operations using MIG processes.
  • Read and interpret simple blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces.
  • Set up welding machines and select appropriate tools and materials.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain welding equipment and report maintenance needs.
  • Follow company safety standards and wear required PPE.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in aluminum welding and MIG processes.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints and technical documents.
  • Basic knowledge of welding techniques and metal properties.
  • 1–3 years of welding experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training or welding certification preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of welding safety procedures.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Willingness to learn and accept supervision.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $37.00/hr.
