Anthony’s Seafood Production Worker Primary responsibilities
- Accurate and expedient packing of all fresh, frozen and non‑seafood items for delivery to the restaurants.
- Knowledge of all packing techniques for Eastern Washington restaurants including box weight limits, product pairings and labeling/strapping.
- Pack alder planks in boxes for restaurants.
- Weigh and ice fresh fish for storage in insulated containers. Labeling/dating of containers.
- Weighing of frozen Ling cod and Halibut for thawing in thaw totes and documenting procedures of weights.
- Take daily fresh fish and shellfish inventory.
- Wash down of fresh fish production area as required.
- Pressure washing of fresh production area and knowledge of correct sanitation standards.
- Break down of boxes and garbage removal as necessary.
- Wash down and sanitation of fresh fish production totes.
- Sweep and clean freezer.
- Learn Anthony’s Seafood HACCP program and be able to fill out all necessary paperwork associated with itli>
- Physical skills required:
- Subject to wet floors and temperature extremes.
- Must be able to pack orders in a minus 10 degrees freezer.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and carry cases of product and fresh fish weighing up to 60 lbs, on a frequent and regular basis.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Education:
Ability to communicate in English is desirable.
Experience:
No experience required.
$21.30 - $25.00 Hourly
