Compensation:

New hires for this position typically start between $32.76 and $40.94 hourly depending on factors such as work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions. While the full pay range is provided to support pay transparency, individual compensation will vary within the range based on these factors.

What you’ll do

The Scheduler I at Pioneer Industries is responsible for maintaining a balance between customer needs and Production’s capabilities through the scheduling and rescheduling of customer purchase orders; monitoring lead times and capacities to ensure even flow and to maximize on‑time delivery; representing the company in communications and interactions with the customer; increasing the overall awareness, status, and importance of quality and on‑time delivery in the eyes of the customer;

supporting established plans, processes and controls; embracing and sustaining Lean; and supporting goals and initiatives that drive improvement and growth; all while promoting and supporting the Company’s mission of helping people; and providing leadership, guidance, training, and support in areas of expertise.

What you’ll bring

  • High School or GED
  • 6 months in a Manufacturing environment
  • MRP/ERP system experience
  • Demonstrated experience partnering, collaborating and providing professional, positive and timely customer service to internal and external customers
  • Experience coordinating work flow within or between manufacturing departments
  • Experience maintaining all reference files and records
  • Intermediate Computer Skills with emphasis on Outlook and Excel
  • May be required drive to other PHS locations and / or deliver / pick up parts if necessary.

Preferably you’ll bring

  • Previous Sheet Metal and/or Aerospace Manufacturing shop experience
  • APIC's certification or Enrollment a plus
  • Experience collaborating inventory control, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and quality to coordinate schedules
