. This position is based in Bremerton, Washington, working aboard U.S. Naval ships and shipyards.

Welder, Combination, Maintenance – Perform welding tasks in varying temperatures and conditions aboard U.S. Naval ships.

Responsibilities include:

• Apply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, or repair metal or other materials.
• Work from blueprints, engineering sketches, charts, or work orders.
• Lay out and mark rangets on parts or subassemblies using rule, square, scribeોરી or templates.
• Use measuring instruments and hand tools to position pieces for welding into jigs, holding fixtures, guides, and steps.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Participate in special projects as required.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of relevant welding experience.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, welding procedures, and safety protocols.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Current and ability to obtain any required clearances (none required).

  Bremerton, WA (on customer site).
• Weekly hours: 40.
• Travel: 10–25%.
• Telecommuting:
  Onsite only.
• Compensation: $25.50–$34.50 per hour (range may vary based on experience).
