This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance.

This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Provides tactical and technical support to engineering/Production/Manufacturing by performing activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro/mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.

Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment. Uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Configure new production work areas with the necessary tooling and equipment to ensure efficient workflow and minimize any potential delays during the transition to high-rate manufacturing
* Operate precision calibrated tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, etc.) to maintain high safety and quality standards
* Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency, enhancing overall productivity.
* Drive the transition from development to production, proactively performing troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
* Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S principles to promote safety and operational efficiency.
* Performing precision work in a clean room environment.

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Experience with aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another related field: 3+ years
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
* Experience with precision calibration tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, and optical measuring instruments.
* Ability to lift 50lbs and comfortable working at heights (work stands, ladders, lifts) and/or in confined spaces.
* Expertise in various applications, including adhesives, sealants, and thermal blankets.
* Proficiency in digital tools, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
