This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Configure new production work areas with the necessary tooling and equipment to ensure efficient workflow and minimize any potential delays during the transition to high‑rate manufacturing.
- Operate precision calibrated tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, etc.) to maintain high safety and quality standards.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency, enhancing overall productivity.
- Drive the transition from development to production, proactively performing troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S principles to promote safety and operational efficiency.
- Perform precision work in a clean room environment.
The Integration Technician at Blue Origin plays a pivotal role in advancing the efficiency and reliability of aerospace components through cutting‑edge assembly methods. As part of a large, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will manufacture, assemble, and hardware on the first stage of our premier launch vehicle, New Glenn. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of transforming the way our tanks are made and integrated.

- Experience with aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another related field: 0–3 years.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
- Experience with precision calibration tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, and optical measuring instruments.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and comfortable working at heights (work stands, ladders, lifts) and/or in confined spaces.
- Expertise in various applications, including adhesives, sealants, and thermal blankets.
- Proficiency in digital tools, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field.
- Experience with cryogenic systems, fluid assembly, and aerospace/launch vehicle assembly, crucial for ensuring the integrity and reliability of our spacecraft's propulsion systems.
- Knowledge of precision assembly processes and handling large aerospace components.
- Strong technical and leadership skills with a keen attention to detail, essential for leading teams in complex integration tasks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in various teams to foster a positive work environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset and curiosity for optimizing processes, driving innovation.
- Experience working on aerospace payloads, fairings, capsules.
- Experience with large out‑of‑autoclave curing and production control systems.
- Willingness to work overtime.
$24.74 – $34.63 per hour.
