Position: Glassblower – All Levels | John Pomp

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated glassblower department team member who takes pride in working hands-on to shape raw material into refined, one-of-a-kind designs. Working under the direction of our Lead Glass Artist Michael Hermann, you will support the creation of sculptural, organic works in glass for our luxury furniture and lighting collections.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support all Hot Shop Department initiatives and tasks as directed by Production Manager, Michael Hermann
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to produce a wide array of different blown, hot cast, and kiln cast glass works
  • Support Production Manager in implementation of daily and weekly production schedule and tasks to meet and exceed company goals.
  • Participate in trainings to support continuous learning and improvement
  • Develop a high level of working knowledge of all glass processes including blowing, hot casting, and cold working
  • Maintain a high level of precision by adhering to design quality standards and the studio’s established processes while suggesting opportunities for continuous improvement of production processes
Required Experience/Skills
  • 2-5 years of demonstrated glassblowing experience in a professional production environment
  • A mature, responsible individual who excels in a collaborative environment
  • Passionate glassblower with a high personal drive to meet and maintain company standards of excellence
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent physical and digital organizational skills
  • High level of time management and ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • Self‑motivated, energetic, and production‑minded work ethic
  • Creative problem solver with a focus on proactive, positive solutions
  • Punctual, reliable individual who can work full time hours
