Additive Manufacturing Machine Technician II

Position: Additive Manufacturing (AM) Engineering Technician –
Blue Origin Operations

This role is part of our Operations team, covering Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. As an AM Engineering Technician you will set up, operate, and maintain additive manufacturing machines that build components for a range of spaceflight systems.

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience.
• Experience operating complex manufacturing equipment such as precision medical devices, robotics, or metallic additive manufacturing machines.
• Proficiency with complex software interfaces for quality data collection.
• Strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and adherence to schedule constraints.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee/asylum seeker.

• Five or more years of hands‑on metallic additive manufacturing production experience.
• Associate’s degree or higher in a technical discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Electromechanical, Optics, Lasers, or Machining.
• Advanced technology operations experience within a manufacturing environment.

WA applicants: $29.91–$41.87 per hour.
