About This Featured Opportunity

Our dedicated teams furnish all requisite elements for the development and assessment of the vanguard technologies that underpin products within the company. This encompasses mechanical and electrical design, precision machining, additive manufacturing, casting, molding, assembly, laser processing, and repair. We operate with alacrity and seek individuals who are driven to identify rapid and efficient methodologies for materializing concepts into tangible realities, frequently involving complex geometries and stringent timelines.

We are deeply integrated into the hardware development lifecycle, collaborating closely with the product design and industrial design teams to apply our specialized expertise to their intricate challenges. We take immense pride in transcending the role of a mere prototype production service for our clientele.

This position is fundamental to the operational support provided to our collaborators. The incumbent will engage directly in the operation of industrial‑grade CNC machining equipment, execute part programming utilizing standardized CAM templates, maintain communication with customers, and ensure adherence to delivery schedules. Given that CNC machining constitutes a critical component of our prototyping services, we are seeking candidates with a foundation in digital design coupled with an intrinsic interest in fabrication.

We are committed to providing comprehensive training in the specific requirements of the role to the appropriate candidate.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
  • Program parts with efficiency utilizing standardized CAM templates within Fusion 360.
  • Manage material loading and unloading, monitor machine status, and initiate production runs at predetermined intervals to guarantee the fulfillment of delivery obligations.
  • Retrieve finished components from the machinery, perform necessary cleaning and post‑processing, exercising diligence to preserve or emphasize critical features.
  • Update the task management platform to keep requesters informed of the job status.
  • Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain equipment and ensure the availability of all necessary tools and materials for uninterrupted production.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
  • Demonstrated Digital Design Expertise:
Proficiency in a range of digital design tools, including CAD/CAM software such as Fusion 360, with the ability to adapt to new systems and efficiently program parts using templated CAM programs.
  • Possession of strong interpersonal acumen, an inherent capacity to discern the specific requirements of diverse customers within their requests, and a natural proficiency in tailoring the approach to satisfy those needs.
  • A profound enthusiasm for the process of creation and fabrication (e.g., artistic pursuits, mechanical tinkering, crafts).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities, characterized by clarity and conciseness as a default standard.
Nice to Haves
  • Prior digital fabrication experience within a prototyping environment, specifically involving CNC machining.
  • Attainment of a Bachelor's or Associate's degree.
  • Direct, hands‑on experience with CNC machining equipment, whether hobby‑ or commercial‑grade.
  • Experience utilizing CAD/CAM software such as Fusion 360, Solid Works, or Mastercam.
