🌟 Job Summary

Quickparts is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to perform a wide range of machining operations and build fixtures that support high‑quality, on‑time production. In this hands‑on role, you will set up and operate Haas CNC mills with minimal instruction, machine parts to print, verify dimensions using appropriate measuring tools and gages, and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented machinist who takes pride in precision, teamwork, and adhering to established processes and safety standards.

🔑 Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate Haas CNC mills with minimal supervision.
  • Machine parts in accordance with engineering prints and work instructions.
  • Build production and inspection fixtures as needed to support machining operations.
  • Perform additional job‑related machining duties as required.
Quality & Documentation
  • Use required measuring tools and gages to inspect parts and verify compliance with specifications.
  • Follow all job‑related instructions, including written work instructions and verbal direction.
  • Maintain attention to detail to ensure part accuracy, consistency, and conformance to customer and company requirements.
Workplace Organization & Collaboration
  • Keep the work area clean, safe, and orderly in accordance with company standards.
  • Work effectively with others to meet production goals and resolve day‑to‑day shop‑floor issues.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines in daily work activities.
🎯 Qualifications Education & Training
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical school education or equivalent training in machining preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of machining experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC mills, preferably Haas equipment.
  • NC programming skills preferred.
  • Manual machining skills helpful but not required.
  • Ability to use common measuring tools and gages to check parts.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team‑oriented environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to follow company policies, guidelines, and job‑specific instructions.
🏭 Working Environment / Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, stoop, and bend for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate common manufacturing machinery and hand tools.
  • Must speak clearly in English to accurately convey information and be able to hear at normal speaking levels.
  • Must be able to visually read work instructions, gages, and monitors required to complete daily tasks.
  • Regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds, frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally required to lift up to 100 pounds.

  • Required to observe all safety standards and rules.
  • Required to report all injuries to the supervisor and Human Resources within 24 hours.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required by the job.
