This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance.
This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

* Shift available:
Monday – Thursday (5am – 3:30pm).
* Multiple positions available
* Flexibility in work schedule, supporting all shifts/OT, as necessary, to support business needs.
** Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*** Production and maintenance of aerospace hardware and equipment
* Installation of electrical wire harnesses and instrumentation
* Assist engineers in reviewing design concepts, providing feedback for improvements.
* Familiarity working with assembly fixture tooling.
* Review and follow work instructions for complex mechanical installations/fabrication.
* Innovate to improve processes and increase efficiency of operations.
* Tack welding sheet metal and/or foil applications.
* Structures fabrication and repair.
* Maintain inventory of parts and equipment for assembly, test and propulsion systems.
* Working on research and development hardware alongside engineering to produce industry leading space technology.

* Minimum Qualifications:
*** 2+ years’ experience in aerospace or equivalent maintenance, manufacturing, and fabrication
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
* Ability to read, understand, and use technical manuals and detailed work instructions.
* Experience and comfortability working in a research and development environment.
* Knowledge and experience with personal protective equipment.
* Knowledge in the proper use of different types of aerospace fittings and seals.
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment.
* Use of precision measuring instruments (Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge) and attention to detail.
* Basic DC electrical skills including use of a DVM and soldering.
* Proven ability to follow stringent written procedures.
* Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with threaded insert installation and thread tapping tools.
* Knowledge of calibrated precision inspection equipment, including borescope maintenance and use.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Able to climb ladders, stairs, and work in small, restricted spaces.
* Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
* Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Project and PowerPoint.
* Ability to think outside of the box and deliver innovative solutions and results.

* Preferred Qualifications:
*** 4+ years’ experience in propulsion integration and testing or similar.
* Familiarity with hydrostatic, hydraulic, and pneumatic testing.
* Familiar with 3D CAD software such as Creo, Solid Works or equivalent.
* Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
* Experience with spacecraft, payload, or launch vehicles.
* Familiarity with composites manufacturing and fabrication.
* A&P license or aerospace technology certification.
* Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts on or around flight hardware.
* Experience with 3D measurement tools, such as Faro Arms/Trackers and Verisurf software.
* Ability to read and interpret GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard.### Compensation…
