Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Director of Admissions and Enrollment, Alpha - $200,000/year USD

You excel in the unpredictability of startup environments. You have a proven track record serving high-net-worth clients who demand exceptional, personalized service. You are convinced that AI holds transformative potential for education and welcome the opportunity to advocate for that vision against skeptics. If any of these expectations feel like a poor fit, this position is not right for you.

Alpha is not a conventional educational institution. We are a technology-driven startup demonstrating that every child possesses extraordinary potential. Our students complete their core academic work in only two hours each day through AI-driven applications, dedicating the remainder of their time to practical competencies: public speaking, analytical reasoning, collaborative problem-solving, and meaningful projects. No traditional lectures. No redundant assignments. Only accelerated mastery and performance outcomes in the top 1% nationally.

Families expect concierge-quality engagement. You will routinely address challenges to this approach, from concerns about screen exposure to doubts from traditional education advocates and "too good to be true" objections.

During year zero and year one, this position functions as an enrollment sales role. You are accountable for the complete pipeline from initial inquiry through executed enrollment contract, including conversion benchmarks and CRM oversight. Campus launch requires a minimum of 25 enrolled students. Achieving that threshold is your responsibility. You will deliver compelling information sessions, facilitate personalized campus visits, maintain persistent follow‑up, and finalize enrollments.

After securing 25 students and bringing on an admissions director, your responsibilities transition to serving as the campus's lead parent relations executive. You will cultivate loyalty, address concerns with white‑glove attention, and develop satisfied families into vocal advocates who drive organic referrals.

This is a high‑trust, high‑independence position with defined accountability. You will operate as a solo contributor without extensive administrative infrastructure, marketing resources, or established operational frameworks. Strategy evolves in response to data. Systems are under development. You will create them. The majority of your time will be spent beyond the campus (meeting for coffee, networking over lunch, participating in Chamber of Commerce gatherings) rather than at a desk.

You will be present during morning arrival and afternoon departure. Evening family events and periodic weekend student programming are part of the role. A single misaligned family within a cohort of 25 can compromise the entire environment, making the ability to decline unsuitable applicants as critical as securing ideal ones.

The opportunity? You will observe transformations that most educators never encounter: skeptical parents evolving into passionate advocates, reserved students presenting with poise to adult audiences, families selecting your campus over prestigious private institutions. You will create something from the ground up and own the outcomes.

If you believe the majority of schools are underserving children and a superior alternative exists, this is your opportunity to demonstrate it.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Manage the complete enrollment sales process during year 0‑1, from initial inquiry through executed agreement, with defined conversion targets and CRM accountability until the 25‑student threshold is reached.
  • Facilitate information sessions and campus visits that successfully convert interested parents while strategically declining families who are not the right fit (the capacity to say "no" is as critical as the capacity to say "yes").
  • Function as the primary liaison for high‑net‑worth families investing $40 K+ annually,…
