The King County Veterans Program (KCVP) seeks an experienced Site Manager (PPM IV) who serves as an operational leader responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery at the Northgate veterans service hub. This role provides daily onsite direction, trauma‑informed guidance, and workflow leadership to a multidisciplinary team serving veterans and their families. The Site Manager ensures seamless service flow, positive customer experiences, and safety oversight while maintaining program standards and accountability.
This position supports coordinated operations across Northgate, Tukwila, and future expansion hubs based on operational needs. The Site Manager contributes to budget stewardship, data integrity, performance expectations, continuous improvement activities, and strong internal and external partnerships that enhance access to resources for veterans.

WORK SCHEDULE/CONDITIONSThis is a Special Duty Assignment (SDA) or Term‑Limited Temporary (TLT) position anticipated to end 24 months from the start date, but subject to change dependent on operational need. This position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is not eligible for overtime. Typical hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
MISSION CRITICAL POSITION STATUSThis position has been designated Mission Critical. Unless otherwise directed by the County Executive, department director or agency head, all employees, regardless of designation, are expected to report to work or request leave during an emergency or inclement weather. TELEWORKINGREQUIREMENT
DCHS works in a hybrid model, with days in the office as well as telecommuting. The ratio of remote to onsite work will be dependent on business needs and is subject to change. The primary onsite location is the North Gate Exec Tower II at 9725 3rd Ave NE, Suite 300, Seattle, WA 98115, with some travel to Tukwila and field‑based work as needed.
Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
