Location:

Based in or open to relocation to the Greater Seattle area

Type:

Full-time

Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multi-million-dollar construction projects within a high-performing and growth-focused environment. This is a business-critical role with full lifecycle responsibility for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring safe, profitable, and contractually compliant delivery.

You’ll operate as the primary driver of project performance, financially, operationally, and commercially, not in a support or secondary role. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical and delivery expertise, proven leadership, and the ability to navigate complexity with minimal ramp-up time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end ownership of construction projects from planning to execution, close-out, and review.
  • Leadership of cross-functional project teams including Assistant PMs, Field Engineers, and site-based personnel.
  • Active commercial management: budget control, forecasting, risk mitigation, change orders, and reporting.
  • Direct involvement with client and contractor negotiations, documentation, and claims.
  • Collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders including public agencies, utilities, and regulators.
  • Travel up to 30% depending on project requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • 10+ years’ experience delivering large-scale construction projects ($50M–$800M+) as the accountable contractor-side lead.
  • Background in heavy civil, trenchless, tunnelling, microtunnelling, or infrastructure delivery.
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial decision-making underpinned by technical expertise.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, decentralized structure.
  • Familiar with project management systems (Primavera, HCSS, B2W, MS Project).
  • Confident, hands-on leader known for being decisive, direct, and collaborative.
Personal & Practical Considerations:
  • Willing to relocate or already based in the region.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel as required by the project portfolio.
Why This Role?
  • Opportunity to lead high-value, technically complex projects with autonomy.
  • Join a business that values execution excellence and leadership accountability.
  • Long-term pipeline of work with clear career progression.
