As Assistant Studio Manager, you support the Studio Manager in leading daily operations, developing coaches, and delivering a best-in-class member experience. You are a visible leader on the floor, a mentor to the coaching team, and a key driver of retention, culture, and performance.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into senior studio leadership while staying deeply connected to coaching and member engagement.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Studio Culture- Act as a brand ambassador and role model for FS8 standards and values
- Help build a professional, welcoming, and inclusive studio culture
- Develop strong relationships with members to foster retention and community
- Support coach development through feedback, mentoring, and accountability
- Maintain a calm, confident leadership presence during all studio hours
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations and front-of-house execution
- Ensure adherence to FS8 brand standards, policies, and procedures
- Maintain exceptional studio cleanliness, organization, and presentation
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed
- Assist in managing payroll and operating expenses within budget targets
- Deliver a premium, personalized member experience at every touchpoint
- Support membership retention initiatives, events, and promotions
- Assist with member account management, billing issues, and service recovery
- Respond to member feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and care
- Support studio marketing efforts and local community engagement
- Collaborate with the sales team to support membership growth and retention
- Help achieve studio KPIs including attendance, retention, and engagement
- Assist with studio launches, challenges, and special initiatives
- Support lead follow-up and referral engagement when needed
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training FS8 coaches
- Help manage coaching schedules to ensure consistent class coverage
- Support monthly coach evaluations and performance feedback
- Track certifications, continuing education, and training compliance
- Ensure equipment is well-maintained and classes are delivered safely
- Coach approximately 12–18 FS8 classes per week, including some weekends
- Deliver precise, safe, and motivating classes aligned with FS8 methodology
- Ensure members receive personalized attention and proper movement guidance
- Support execution of FS8 benchmarks, events, and programming initiatives
- Nationally recognized Pilates, Yoga, Group Fitness, or Personal Training Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
- 1+ year of leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and operational consistency
- Ability to lead calmly in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with fitness technology and scheduling platforms
- Sales or hospitality experience a plus

The Pay Range For This Role Is 50,000 - 65,000 USD per year (FS8 SLU)
