Cipro Contractors is seeking a Business Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, financial controls, compliance, and sales growth across its contracting and manufacturing divisions. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who understands construction businesses, cash flow, and scaling operations.
The Business Manager serves as the operational backbone of the company—ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely payroll, regulatory compliance, and structured, measurable growth.
Core ResponsibilitiesOperations & Management
- Oversee daily operations across contracting and cabinet divisions
- Implement systems for scheduling, invoicing, and internal controls
- Coordinate between sales, production, and field teams
- Manage bookkeeping (AR/AP, job costing, bank reconciliations)
- Process payroll and payroll tax filings
- Maintain clean monthly financial statements
- Coordinate with CPA on year‑end filings and audits
Compliance & Reporting
- File and manage Washington State and federal reports (IRS, DOR, L&I)
- Maintain licenses, bonding, insurance, and compliance calendars
- Ensure labor and contractor compliance
- Track sales pipeline and conversion metrics
- Support pricing, forecasting, and margin control
- Identify operational bottlenecks affecting revenue
- Assist leadership with growth and expansion planning
- 5+ years experience in business, operations, or office management
- Strong bookkeeping and payroll background (construction preferred)
- Familiarity with Washington State compliance and reporting
- Proficiency with Quick Books or similar accounting platforms
- Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, owner‑led business
- Established and growing construction company
