We are looking for a Vice President of Regional Sales who will provide strategic and operational leadership to drive business growth and profitability s is a unique opportunity to combine your executive management skills with expertise in market strategies to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and implement a strategic plan that meets performance targets, including revenue and profitability goals aligned with Iteris' objectives.
- Expand business opportunities by forging strong relationships with municipalities and state/federal agencies.
- Oversee regional operations, ensuring consistency and alignment with company goals while focusing on efficiency in daily operations.
- Act as a subject matter expert in traffic impact studies, signal studies, and intelligent transportation systems.
- Represent Iteris at industry events and client meetings, showcasing our capabilities and solutions.
- Work closely with product and marketing teams to align go-to-market strategies and enhance customer messaging.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
- Implement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and promote innovation within traffic operations and planning.
- Ensure compliance with pricing policies, contractual guidelines, and internal controls.
- Analyze sales performance data and pipeline metrics for optimal forecasting and resource management.
- A Bachelor’s or advanced degree.
- 7-10 years of sales management experience with a successful track record in achieving revenue targets.
- Strong expertise in traffic engineering principles along with relevant software/tools.
- Familiarity with HW and SW applications related to construction is a plus.
- Experience in ITS, traffic signal management, analytics, or transportation planning software.
- Proven results in meeting or exceeding regional sales goals in complex B2G or B2B environments.
- Strong knowledge of public sector procurement and the dynamics of the transportation industry.
- Excellent leadership, fiscal management, business development, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and scale sales teams across a diverse geographic region.
- Willingness to travel 50%+ within the region.
Iteris offers a competitive base salary between $145,000 and $163,000 for this role, along with quarterly commissions. Total compensation may vary depending on the individual's qualifications and experience.
