WhatYou’ll Do
- Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee recruiting and hiring of new staff.
- Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross‑train staff; set and track staff and department deadlines; mentor and coach as needed.
- Consult with senior sales professionals to define complex project requirements; investigate various approaches to attain end results; develop action plans for high‑potential risks; ensure timely implementation by the team.
- Obtain and coordinate resources needed to service projects and build strategic operational plans.
- Manage sales and relationships with large and high‑profile clients; identify latest sales opportunities and improvements within existing accounts.
- Review service‑level performance reports to ensure client service levels are met and exceeded.
- Troubleshoot escalated open issues and tasks, working closely with senior internal and client cross‑functional teams; serve as a subject‑matter expert for key systems and processes for projects.
- Direct client and project team regarding the scope of work and responsibilities; ensure daily performance and ongoing delivery against contractual obligations.
- Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how it integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values; influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
- Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity; understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
- Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree with 5–8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.
- Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information; convey performance expectations and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on one’s own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
- In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
