Compensation:

New hires for this position typically start between $111,706 and $148,941 annually, depending on factors such as work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the Estimating and Planning team. Ensure profitability of new work, proper risk management through product realization processes, optimal production quantities, and financial data integrity through ERP modules.
  • Establish plans, processes and controls to maximize the company’s return on assets; manage product realization risk; implement pricing policy; and manage the performance of the estimating and planning group.
  • Review all contracts terms and conditions, collaborate with senior management to verify and approve language, pricing and lead times, and maintain proper business practices and protections.
  • Support Senior Operations Manager and Senior QA Manager to maintain best business practices, balancing mission objectives with effective business/personal growth practices.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, engineering, finance, business administration or procurement, or 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing production control setting.
  • 5+ years related experience in a metal fabrication environment.
  • Extensive understanding of ERP with ability to translate knowledge into a learnable format.
  • Expert knowledge and practical experience as an estimator.
  • Completion of engineering classes or knowledge of part production.
  • 3+ years progressive leadership experience managing a team.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Job Cost Analysis.
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business or quality programs.
