Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Role and Responsibilities

• Keeps the facility in an orderly and neat condition.
• Uses cleaning chemicals in the proper proportions as noted on the directions, to sweep, mop, and disinfect the facility.
• Wipe hallway hand rails and clean the nursing stations.
• Clean floors and furniture at residents' room.
• Sweep & mop shower rooms at both nursing stations.
• Clean all public restrooms by the offices.
• Operates basic equipment such as vacuum cleaners and buffers.
• Disposes large bags of garbage to the dumpsters.
• Follows all the housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Follow housekeeping checklist.
• Must follow the facilities policy and procedures on Infection Control.
• Performs other duties as required.

• One year of experience in housekeeping in a health care facility is preferred.
• Be able to lift heavy objects of more than 50 lb.
• Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
