Full-Time Tuesday - Saturday 8am - 5pm

The maintenance technician II assists the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the community, ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff. The Maintenance Technician II performs duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor and may assume all maintenance responsibilities in the Supervisor’s absence.
Maintenance TechnicianJob Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and tools as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
- Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property.
- Inspect and help coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services.
- Assist in keeping grounds neat and free of litter.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and happy resident base.
- At least 2+ years of maintenance experience in property management strongly preferred, but not required
- Proficient in unit turns and appliance repair is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong team player
- Willingness to learn and take initiative on tasks and projects
- Must have valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage

Physical Requirements- This position requires the ability to stand and walk or sit alternately depending on daily needs. Estimated 60% - 100% of time on feet.
- Occasional need to type, write, & grasp (working at a computer and answering phones)
- Estimated 60% - 100% need to bend/stoop/squat, climb stairs, push or pull, and reach above shoulder
- Ability to lift/move/push/pull up to 150 lbs on occasion with a frequent need to lift/push/pull 25 lbs - 75 lbs
