Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties such as troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential units and property facilities according to safety practices, predictive and preventative maintenance systems and processes to achievement business goals and objectives.

- Ensures that work order requests are responded to promptly and professionally.
- Completes diagnoses and repairs in the areas of HVAC, appliances, electrical, plumbing, pool equipment, carpentry, dry wall, exterior of building and grounds.
- Schedules, monitors and performs preventative maintenance on all building equipment.
- Ensures all unit turnovers are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guest to promote a quality living experience for all guest.
- Provides on-call services when scheduled to perform emergency maintenance work.
- Oversees contractor work for proper completeness.
- Communicates with supervisor regarding the overall maintenance function of the property.
- Complies with all Company National Standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma/GED.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft office, etc.)
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Must have a flexible schedule with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- 2 years of building maintenance or experience in a related field preferred.
- Ability to paint.
- HCAV, Appliance, or Electrical certifications preferred.
