Snapshot / Role Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Boiler Technician in Seattle Metro to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of high-pressure steam systems.
Impact- Keep boiler systems running safely and within code.
- Deliver steady steam output for essential building operations.
- Improve system efficiency through precision combustion tuning.
- Support full compliance with safety, emissions, and inspection standards.
- Operate and monitor high-pressure boilers and related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on burners, pumps, and controls.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
- Adjust combustion settings for performance and compliance.
- Log all maintenance and system operations.
- Manage water chemistry and perform scheduled blowdowns.
- Follow LOTO, OSHA, and site-specific safety procedures.
- Assist with inspections and third-party vendor coordination.
- Must-Haves: 5+ years working with high-pressure steam boilers (Cleaver-Brooks, Miura, Raypak, Babcock & Wilcox).
- Solid knowledge of boiler controls, combustion systems, and ASME codes.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Nice-to-Haves: EPA 608 Universal Certification.
- OSHA 30-hour safety certification.
- Technical training in HVAC or mechanical systems.
- Experience with boiler management or building automation systems.
