Salary: $26 - $27 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time;
Thursday - Saturday 9am - 6pm;

The purpose of the Maintenance Technician II is to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the community, in a manner consistent with Thrive’s Values. This involves ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff. The Maintenance Technician II will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor.
In the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician II could assume all maintenance responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment and tools as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
- Diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property.
- Inspects and helps coordinate all needed make‑ready repairs and services.
- Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter.
- Performs any additional duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
- Contributes to a positive team environment and happy resident base.
- At least 2+ years of maintenance experience in property management strongly preferred, but not required
- Proficient in unit turns and appliance repair is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong team player
- Willingness to learn and take initiative on tasks and projects
- Must have valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage

Physical Requirements- This position requires the ability to stand and walk or sit alternatively depending on the specific needs of the day. Estimated 60% - 100% of time is spent on feet.
- Occasional need to type, write, & grasp (working at a computer and answering phones)
- Estimated 60% - 100% need to bend/stoop/squat, climb stairs, push or pull, and reach above shoulder
- Ability to lift/move/push/pull up to 150 lbs on occasion with a frequent need to lift/push/pull 25 lbs - 75 lbs and be on your feet a majority of the day
