This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

This role is part of Blue Origin Global Supply Chain. Our Senior Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) will drive supply chain management solutions and projects as part of Blue Origin Global Supply Chain. You will be responsible for program management ensuring all programs required are planned, organized and implemented ahead of schedule and with exceptional quality.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee the monitoring of critical business-wide metrics and coordinate cross‑functional teams to enhance supply chain effectiveness.
  • Lead the development and execution of long‑term inventory & capacity planning strategies to support growth.
  • Implement advanced supply chain modeling techniques for inventory optimization and cost reduction.
  • Utilize data‑driven insights to drive efficiency and cost reduction in supply chain operations.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer obsession.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams in continuous improvement of supply chain processes and systems.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics for supply chain management.
  • Coordinate and resolve company‑wide risks and obstacles to align schedules with internal customer needs.
  • Report key program progress to senior leadership in operational initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • 8 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Business, Engineering, or related industry.
  • Experience as a people manager; encouraging and in support of performance management activities, goal setting, career counseling, compensation planning, and employee training and/or talent development while managing employees and employee relations issues within varying levels of the Organization.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge and experience in inventory management systems and warehouse management systems including tools for inventory health.
  • Track record of managing complex supply chain inventory movements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate complex ideas, anticipate potential objections and persuade others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade‑offs and evaluate new ideas with internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across disciplines with engineering, design, and project management counterparts to deliver online products/services
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
  • Experience establishing & maintaining KPIs to track and monitor performance and develop improvement plans
  • Experience with and knowledge of defense acquisition.
  • Demonstrated deep knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Management and Program Management
  • Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations.
