Litigation Associate

Description

We are looking for a skilled Associate to join our litigation team in Seattle. This role is ideal for a mid-level associate with a strong background in handling complex legal disputes, employment litigation, and business contract issues. The position offers an opportunity to manage diverse cases while utilizing exceptional research, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in a range of litigation matters, including commercial disputes and regulatory compliance cases.

- Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.

- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.

- Manage discovery processes, including document review and interrogatories.

- Collaborate with clients and team members to develop effective case strategies.

- Analyze contracts and advise on potential legal risks or disputes.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

- Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.

- Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines efficiently.

- Stay current with legal trends and updates impacting litigation practices.

Requirements

- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.

- Active membership in the Washington State Bar.

- Minimum of three years of experience practicing litigation, employment litigation experience a plus
