Litigation Associate Attorney

A 17-attorney law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its multi-jurisdictional litigation practice
. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven attorney who is eager to grow, take ownership of meaningful work, and develop strong litigation skills in a collaborative environment.

Litigation Associate Attorney

Key Responsibilities

Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery with a high level of accuracy and clarity

Conduct legal research and analysis across multiple jurisdictions

Assist with and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel

Manage assigned caseloads efficiently while meeting deadlines

Contribute to case strategy and collaborate with senior attorneys

Litigation Associate Attorney Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school

Active bar admission (or recent bar candidates will be considered)

1–3 years of experience preferred in:

Maritime litigation,
Insurance defense, and/or
Workers’ compensation

Exceptional legal writing and oral communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Demonstrated desire to learn, grow, and excel in a litigation practice
