- Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in‑house status) in the state in which the position is located.
- 7 years of experience with legal, regulatory, or corporate compliance, including addressing, minimizing, and avoiding regulatory risk.
- 7 years of attorney‑level experience in government, in‑house, or at a law firm.
- Experience advising on global privacy and data protection laws.
- Experience developing, advising, and evaluating programs that ensure products comply with laws, regulations, and external commitments.
- Experience engaging with regulators, including State Attorneys General (AGs), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and global data protection authorities.
- Experience working with technology companies and ability to understand complex technical issues.
- Experience with managing projects and partnering effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to be action‑oriented and seek to meet the highest standards of integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, time management and investigative skills, and attention to detail.
As a Regulatory Counsel, Privacy, you will join a Global team that provides subject matter expertise and engages with regulators, academics, and others to consider the role of privacy law in accordance with our changing economy, the development of new technology, and passage of new laws and regulations. Your role involves interpreting laws, partnering with internal stakeholders across the company to mitigate risk, and helping communicate our compliance externally.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $239,000‑$337,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
