Position Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified litigation associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and two or more years litigation experience.
GTH has a broad litigation practice with a record of providing exceptional legal services to a diverse group of individual and business clients in the areas of general commercial, land use, estate planning, labor and employment, personal injury, insurance coverage and business and real estate transactions litigation.
This position is based in Tacoma with crossover to our Seattle practice groups.
Minimum Qualifications- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar
- Two or more years of general litigation practice
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills that center clients’ legal needs with empathy, compassion, and dedication
- Good judgment, responsiveness, and perseverance
- Intellectual curiosity and self-motivation
- Experience in general litigation, motion practice, and deposition work
- Ability to manage multiple high-level cases with limited supervision
- Judicial clerkship experience
The position provides a base salary of $115,000 to $142,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus the potential for annual bonus compensation based on objective and subjective metrics that allow for significant additional compensation. Associates receive medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays, and professional development opportunities. After the first full year of employment, the firm currently provides a 401(k) plan with matching contributions.
After the second full year, the firm currently provides profit‑sharing contributions to the 401(k) plan in addition to the matching contributions.
