A well-established litigation firm is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Paralegal to join their Portland team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, proactive professional that thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and can manage complex litigation cases from start to finish. Insurance defense experience is strongly preferred.

$80,000.00/yr - $/yr

• Manage litigation cases through all phases of the legal process
• Conduct factual and witness investigations, including background checks
• Draft and respond to discovery; manage document production
• Review and summarize medical records, police reports, and deposition transcripts
• Analyze case files and prepare chronologies of key events
• Support attorneys with depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
• Collaborate professionally with attorneys, clients, and staff
• Quickly learn and utilize firm technologies and systems

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience (insurance defense preferred)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Able to handle multiple tasks under pressure with accuracy
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to new legal systems
• Professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication
