Attorney​/Lawyer

Description

Robert Half is partnering with a law firm in the Greater Seattle Area to identify a Litigation Attorney who is ready to IMMEDIATELY jump in to assist their team during a surge in workload. This position is contract with strong potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role.

Location:

Remote (Firm based in the Greater Seattle / Bellingham area)

Pay Rate: $70-90 per hour DOE

Duration: 3+ months

Schedule:

M-F, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

+ Conduct thorough document reviews and manage document production processes.

+ Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.

+ Handle depositions, including preparation and questioning of witnesses.

+ Respond to interrogatories and assist with discovery processes.

+ Provide legal defense in civil litigation cases involving municipalities, school districts, and insurance entities.

+ Collaborate with partners on investigations, including Title IX matters.

+ Participate in trial preparations and proceedings, offering strategic legal insights.

Requirements

+ 2+ YOE in litigation, including civil defense, and must hold an active license to practice law in the state of Washington.

+ Strong legal writing, legal research, and analytical skills.

+ Smokeball experience preferred, not required.

The salary range for this position is $70-90/hr DOE. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
