Overview
Complex Litigation Associate Attorney $235,000-$390,000 Annually
About the jobTop national law firm seeking a Complex Litigation Associate with experience in crypto/web3, blockchain technology and related transactions. This position targets candidates with 3-6 years of transactional experience advising crypto and web3 companies on diverse matters.
Responsibilities- Advise crypto and web3 companies on transactions including venture capital financings; crypto token, digital asset and NFT issuances; primary and secondary sales of crypto tokens and digital assets; and creation of offshore structures related to crypto token and digital asset issuances.
- Provide strategic legal counsel on regulatory and securities considerations related to crypto tokens; familiarity with securities laws is a plus.
- Work with technology and growth companies at various stages, including fintech, artificial intelligence, digital media and entertainment, electronic gaming, big data, and related emerging technologies.
- Minimum 3-6 years of transactional experience advising crypto and web3 companies on the types of transactions listed above.
- Understanding of blockchain technology and markets required; familiarity with securities law and regulatory issues around crypto tokens is a plus.
- JD degree; admission to practice in appropriate jurisdictions.
- Lateral candidates from LARGE law firms encouraged; candidates currently practicing in the same practice group preferred.
San Francisco is preferred, but candidates in Los Angeles, New York, and Washington DC will also be considered.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary range of $260,000-$390,000, based on year classification.
