Responsibilities:

• Patent Prosecution:
  Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications with the USPTO, including preparing detailed invention descriptions, claims, and responses to office actions.
• Technical Analysis:
  Evaluate invention disclosures and conduct prior art searches to assess patentability and develop patent strategies.
• Client Support:
  Collaborate with inventors and clients (e.g., startups, corporations) to provide technical and patent-related guidance, explaining complex concepts clearly.
• Documentation:
  Prepare accurate patent documents, ensuring compliance with USPTO regulations and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field (e.g., engineering, computer science, biology, chemistry). Advanced degrees (M.S. or Ph.D.) preferred.
• Patent Bar:
  Must be registered with the USPTO by passing the patent bar exam (or hired as a technical specialist with intent to pursue registration).
• Experience:
  
  1–4 years of experience in patent prosecution or related technical fields preferred. Industry experience is a plus

Compensation:

$120-250k + bonus
