A mid- to large-sized law firm is seeking an Associate with two to three years of construction law, construction litigation, or government contracting experience to join its Construction and Design Practice Group. The role involves working closely with public and private owners, general contractors, designers, and engineers on a wide range of matters, including:
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with pre-project planning
, risk assessment, and contract drafting.
Manage and preserve construction-related claims.
Represent clients in construction disputes, litigation, and related proceedings
.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, memos, and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
QualificationsJD from an ABA-accredited law school.
2–3 years of relevant experience in construction law, construction litigation, or government contracts.
Admission to the Washington State Bar (or eligibility and willingness to obtain).
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team-driven environment.
