Our client, a growing plaintiff-side employment law firm
, is expanding in Seattle and seeking a detail-oriented Attorney to join its growing team.
This is a high-impact opportunity for an attorney with 3+
years of experience who is passionate about employee advocacy, thrives in litigation, and brings an entrepreneurial mindset to their practice.
You will play a key role in litigating Washington wage and hour matters before state and federal courts and arbitrators
.
What You’ll Do
- Litigate employment matters from inception through resolution, including wage and hour claims
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft and argue motions (discovery and dispositive)
- Prepare meet and confer correspondence regarding discovery disputes
- Conduct arbitrations and participate in mediations
- Prepare cases for trial
- Perform in-depth legal research and writing
- Manage all aspects of cases, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met
What We’re Looking For
- JD required (active WA bar admission required)
- 3+ years of relevant litigation experience
- Substantial experience handling complex employment litigation
- Strong expertise in wage and hour law
- Proven experience across all phases of litigation, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
