Insurance Coverage Attorney

In this role, the attorney will represent insurance companies in coverage disputes and advise insurance companies in a variety of coverage matters. • Represent insurance companies in coverage disputes and advise on a variety of coverage matters.
• Analyze coverage issues; draft coverage opinions, pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery requests and responses.
• Take and defend depositions, attend court conferences, and argue motions.
• Draft settlement agreements; handle arbitrations and appeals as needed.
• Conduct discovery and manage all phases of the litigation process.

• Minimum of 2 years of law firm insurance coverage and litigation experience.
• Must be licensed in Washington.
• Superior research, writing, and communication skills.
• Experience analyzing insurance policies and other relevant contracts.
• Ability to handle all phases of the litigation process, including drafting motions, pleadings, initial disclosures, discovery demands, discovery responses, and other court documents.
• Experience drafting settlement agreements, taking depositions, handling conferences, and handling appeals.
• Arbitration and/or trial experience is beneficial.

Annualized salary range: $130,000-$220,000. Actual salary is contingent upon level of experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
