Midlevel Associate – Intellectual Property – Life Sciences (Seattle)
Morgan Lewis, one of the world’s leading international law firms, seeks to hire a highly qualified midlevel associate with law firm experience and excellent academic credentials to join our Intellectual Property practice group. This position can also be resident in Boston, Chicago, Houston, Orange County, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Silicon Valley or Washington, DC.
Qualifications- Three to five years of patent prosecution experience in a biotechnology practice.
- Advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D., in a life sciences technology area.
- Patent bar membership (USPTO Registration Number) is required.
- Alternative Track Associate: $150,000 - $185,000
The base salary wage range will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Salary may also be outside this range based on other factors. The total compensation package includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, potential clerkship bonus after a judicial clerkship, and 401(k) plan enrollment. Employees also receive company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, life, disability, accident insurance, health savings account, flexible spending account, and other benefits.
Paid holidays, personal days, sick leave, vacation, bereavement leave, parental leave, and pregnancy disability leave are provided. Detailed benefits participation will be disclosed upon offer. Employees are at-will and firm reserves the right to modify base salary or benefits.
