Business Intelligence Engineer III

• Review existing data challenges to deliver a comprehensive solution with appropriate data strategy and tools
• Design, develop, build, and maintain scalable data solutions, including infrastructure, pipelines, and reporting, to support long‑term business strategies
• Simplify and re‑invent current data solutions to support business scope expansion
• Translate business problems into data questions, find solutions with resourcefulness
• Identify areas of opportunity and present analytical findings and recommendations to business leadership
• Work cross‑functionally with other teams to gather data sources for a comprehensive view of the business, including supply, demand, sales, operations, shopper, etc.
• Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting/analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
• Design, build, and maintain metrics and reports on program health
• Respond to ad hoc requests from business leaders to investigate critical aspects of customer behavior, conduct deep dives, and exploratory data analysis

• 7+ years of experience working with large‑scale complex datasets
• 7+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, No
  
  SQL, etc.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Strong analytical mindset, ability to decompose business requirements into an analytical plan and execute it
• Strong working knowledge of SQL
• Graduate degree in math, statistics, computer science, or related field (marketing highly desirable)
• Excellent communication skills, equally adept at working with engineers and business leaders
