Company is helping its client find Annotators to assist with multiple annotation projects. In this role, you will be labeling, summarizing, and/or evaluating text data for projects on the Machine Learning team. The ideal candidate is someone who has business-level proficiency in Dutch and English.
This is a six-month contract with the potential to extend. All Annotators must reside in the United States. This assignment is part-time remote, but you can dictate your schedule, as hours are flexible (M-F during normal business hours).
As a Data Annotator (Dutch), you will:
- Label data sets for accuracy according to established guidelines in Dutch and/or English.
- job required lots of data annoting from Dutch and English, or English to Dutch. - Identify and escalate any Personally Identifiable Data (PII) that could compromise the data.
- Communicate with management, project leads and team members in English.
Candidates familiar with producing datasets specifically for AI/ML model training, with experience working on complex and multi-dimensional workflows, will have the greatest chance of success in this role.
Daily tasks
We are seeking Annotators to assist with multiple annotation projects. The ideal candidate is someone who has business-level proficiency in Dutch AND English. All Annotators must reside in the United States. This assignment is part-time remote, but you can dictate your own schedule, as hours are flexible. This team you will be assigned to is responsible for all Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, training their next-generation Machine Learning algorithms.
There are multiple sets of customer data that need to be labeled, summarized, evaluated and/or validated. This data will then be used as input for training the new algorithms in a creative fashion. The chosen candidate will be responsible for labeling for accuracy to established guidelines in the target language and/or English.
Required skills
1. Linguistic capabilities
A. business-level proficiency in Dutch
B. business-level proficiency in English
i. You will communicate with management, project leads and team members in English
ii. All guideline materials are in English
2. Previous annotation experience, both in the target language and English
3. Ability to effectively and efficiently manage time-in-task
A. Meet and/or exceed deadlines
B. Effectively manage time-in-task
4. Basic computer skills - Data entry experience
5. Ability to recognize and annotate PII information in the target language and in English
6. Basic spreadsheet capabilities
7. Ability to communicate effectively in English
A. Familiarity with the use of Slack and other modes of communication
B. At ease requesting clarification or communicating observed convention gaps and/or ambiguities.
C. Project issues, schedule changes, etc.
8. Familiarity with and competencies in various annotation tooling
