Drive Impactful Customer Experiences as a User Experience Designer

Aquent is partnering with a leading global technology organization to identify an experienced User Experience Designer to support complex internal platforms that enable operational expansion and strategic growth. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape customer and internal user experiences within a space that is continuing to mature its design and research practice.

You will champion customer needs, challenge assumptions rooted in technical or operational constraints, and help cross‑functional teams align on scalable, user‑centered solutions. This is a highly collaborative, influence‑driven role requiring strong communication, systems thinking, and the ability to execute effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

About the Role:

As a User Experience Designer, you will translate business and technical requirements into intuitive, scalable solutions. You will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to refine complex workflows, define experience direction, and deliver high‑quality interaction designs for internal systems and enterprise tools.

This role requires someone comfortable navigating ambiguity, facilitating alignment across diverse stakeholders, and pushing teams to make informed decisions grounded in user needs and feasibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create process flows, wireframes, and high‑fidelity mockups to communicate detailed interaction behaviors
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to define requirements using research insights, usability findings, analytics data, and user‑centered design principles
  • Facilitate workshops or design sessions to drive alignment and clarify experience strategy
  • Optimize features through usability testing and data‑informed iteration
  • Present design concepts and recommendations to UX teams, product stakeholders, and leadership
  • Contribute to scalable design systems and evolving best practices
Must‑Have

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience delivering interaction design solutions for web‑based or software applications
  • Strong foundation in information architecture, usability principles, and complex workflow design
  • Experience designing internal tools, dashboards, or enterprise systems
  • Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma preferred)
  • Ability to clearly articulate design decisions, tradeoffs, and user impact
  • Strong online portfolio demonstrating complex, user‑centered design work
Nice‑to‑Have

Qualifications:
  • Experience facilitating workshops, design jams, or stakeholder alignment sessions
  • Experience working in ambiguous or evolving product environments
  • Comfort collaborating with highly technical engineering teams in agile settings
  • Experience leveraging analytics data to inform design decisions
  • Ability to prototype using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or advanced prototyping tools
