The Regulatory Engineering Organization within Boeing Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to join the team in Seattle, WA;
North Charleston, SC, or Hazelwood, MO

Be a part in supporting the fascinating world of Boeing Test & Evaluation and have the opportunity to make significant improvements to how Boeing does Flight and Lab Testing.

The selected candidate will play an active role in facilitating the transition from current state to future state of Information Technology (IT) tools supporting digital transformation.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads and performs the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of complex computing applications and software or computing architecture and computing application system designs
• Leads analysis of end user processes to define application requirements
• Writes and compiles complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications
• Modifies or upgrades complex applications to maintain functionality and performance
• Identifies and recommends improvements
• Identifies and resolve complex programming or application architecture problems
• Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications
• Gathers and evaluates end user requirements
• Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design
• Analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements
• Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality
• Ensures that application integrates with overall system architecture, utilizing standard IT lifecycle methodologies and tools
• Reviews system performance and identify and recommend improvements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience programming in C, C++ or C#
• 3+ years of experience with .NET application development
• 1+ years of experience in SQL/T-SQL
• Experience working in an Agile software development methodology environment
• Experience automating and troubleshooting application deployments using CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops Tool Suites along with Azure Pipelines and Portal)
• Experience with Dev Ops / Dev Sec Ops
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline and automation technologies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors' degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience with Object Oriented Design and Programming in a high-level languages, frameworks and technologies such as JavaScript, MS SQL Server, HTML, CSS, jQuery, ASP Classic and Angular
• Experience with Cloud platforms, technologies and/or Cloud-native app development and microservices
• Experience with development on both Windows platforms and Linux/Unix platforms
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) or Team Foundation Server (TFS), Git Lab, GIT, Internet Information Services (IIS), Windows Server
• Experience working with containerization, Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft (MS) SQL Server
• Experience in client-side technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, or Angular 7
• Experience with User Interface (UI) frameworks and 3rd party controls
• Experience collaborating with team members while also working independently
